Places I'd love to see the OHL Expand

I love to see the game of hockey grow, mainly because I love for players who deserve to get the chance to not get passed up on. My issue with the Ontario Hockey League is they won't expand out to Thunder Bay, could say Dryden or Kenora but those are small places but if you ask me I think those two places could thrive with an OHL team. But Thunder Bay would be a crown jewel for the OHL if they had a team. I understand why they wouldn't expand out there being so far away. So that leaves out Northwestern Ontario.  My issue with that is Mike Richards, being from Kenora, once said he didn't know if he was going to be drafted by the OHL or WHL because Kenora is much closer to Winnipeg than Thunder Bay. And he ended up going to the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL. It bares the question on what to do with Northwestern Ontario. Create its own league, have them join the OHL, or the WHL. But anyway, that puts why I won't be including anything west of Thunder Bay even though I normall...

Team Canada 2026 Olympic Men's Roster

Forwards: Marner-McDavid-Reinhart Celebrini-Crosby- Bedard Point-MacKinnon- Scheifele Hagel- Bennett - Jarvis Cirelli Defensemen: Morrissey-Makar Theodore- Dobson Parayko- Ekblad Doughty Goaltenders: Binnington Hill Thompson That was my prediction in a previous post. The bolded, they didn't make it -- excluding the ones who were pre-announced on the team.  My biggest thoughts here is a lot of the players earned it. I understand Bedard was injured, but I personally am not a fan of Marchand, ever since the 2018 playoffs he lost my respect by licking players. As for Tom Wilson I find he is a solid hockey player but I feel his dirty play should've not got him on Canada. Mark Stone I don't feel deserved to get in because there were way better players than him. As for Anthony Cirelli, that one is self explanatory; I think Cirelli is one hell of a player but lots of players deserved to make it over him.   I think Jon Cooper did choose to add grit to Canada because as we saw in t...

Shane Wright rumours

So, it's been rumoured that Shane Wright may be moved.  I was very high on Shane Wright when he was drafted and I believe him to be an incredible hockey player. Good fit on the Kraken, but the timing of him being there wasn't quite the best given that team decided to start with veteran players rather than start young. Aside from Shane Wright I always felt the Seattle Kraken to be a poorly ran franchise when it comes down to management. But these are the places I feel Shane Wright could get a fresh start.  I feel Pittsburgh would be the best fit for Wright because I think he needs long and established veterans to be around and I find he plays a similar offensive game to Sidney Crosby. That being said, once he establishes his game in Pittsburgh I think he'll do very well. I believe the trade going down would mean Shane Wright being a big part of the Penguins infrastructure similar to Tyler Seguin and the Dallas Stars.   I think St. Louis would be my second pick to Pitt...
