The speculation on the Hughes Brothers

It has been made public that the Hughes brothers want to play on the same team one day. In fact, it's been confirmed because Luke Hughes wanted five years on his contract instead of eight or three which is what has been holding him from playing as of today.

But it's only a big deal because we've been hearing lots of rumours back and forth. One of them being the Canucks not hiring Manny Malholtra and going with Adam Foote as head coach to keep Quinn interested in staying. Well... to keep him interested the team may need Jack and Luke. Except it's going to be difficult on both ends of New Jersey and Vancouver as both teams are going to ask for a lot, and if one of them walks they may want to trade them before one moves onward.

So, my prediction is if all three move on they're probably going to sign with Florida considering all those big contracts will be expired by then and the core they got would be coming to end, bringing a new era in South Florida which also keeps them a competitive team. I also think they'd sign there because not only did they once call Florida home, but it's low taxes will attract them there as well. But getting all three of them will have some of the best chemistry in the entire NHL. If not Florida I could see Detroit being one of the teams, but I think it'll be a team they all agree on but for all we know Vegas could swoop in and get all three of them.

But I think what's most likely to happen is New Jersey either overpays for Quinn, or Vancouver gets the other two, or all three walk away to play on the same team. But Vancouver isn't going to let Quinn Hughes go away so easily because he's the best defenseman they've ever gotten, but also Jack Hughes is looking like the best forward in Devils history.
